Man:MILK

I have come across information that it is possible for a man to produce milk. This is made possible because male and females milk glands are the same, yet males have less of them.
By either using a breastfeeding pump or letting the child suck on the nipples, a man can start to lactate. A man will probably not produce as much milk as a woman therefore their milk functions more as a complement.

This is the reason why Epizoon have created the Man:MILK product line, the first breastfeeding products for males on the market. The product line consists of breastfeeding shirts and breastfeeding pumps specially designed with men in mind.

About one baby is born each second, every day of the year in the world and 50% of the parents are males, so the market for Man:MILKs products ought to be gigantic.

After analysing and looking at some common male products I have noticed that they quite often have a dull colour setting and are straight and angular, even the male body is angular. I have had this in mind when I have designed the Man:MILKs products. The form and colour of the products are quit strict and classical to appeal males. This is also because I want males to start thinking about the concept of breastfeeding without first having to accept the form and colour of the products. Therefore my aim has been to design products that are recognisable, appealing and speak masculinity.
